Office Location: *Folcroft, PA *This is not a remote position. Some travel is required.
Universal Services Associates, Inc. is a nationally renowned exhibit fabrication firm located just outside of Philadelphia, PA. We are searching for an experienced Sales and Marketing Director to connect with customers and generate sales for the fabrication of permanent exhibits for Museums, Visitor Centers, Zoos, and Aquariums.
Overview: As Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for establishing significant business relationships that can be characterized as a true partnership rather than client-contractor relationships. You will work with project stakeholders and USA team members to support our customers, and their project partners.
Position Description: Major responsibilities will be to research and develop marketing opportunities, planning, and implementing new sales strategies. Establish business relationships with all members of our client’s executive and stakeholder teams. Nurture business engagement by working with USA’s process from early stages through the full project cycle and (PPR) Post Project reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a mutually rewarding, trusted advisor relationship with clients and project partners, such as designers and architects
- Develop a marketing strategy, approve campaigns, and measure (ROI) return on investment of various advertising methods
- Increase revenue through client engagement expansion
- Identify trends and determine system improvements to achieve marketing and sales operational goals
- Achieve project revenue (WIG) Wildly Important Goal
- Maintain frequent communication with existing projects to ensure quality control, repeat, and new business development as defined by USA’s processes and procedures
- Work closely with USA’s team to ensure a high-quality delivery of products to the client
- Hold value generating quarterly business reviews with one or more client executives
- Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
- Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics
- Work with USA’s team to formulate and propose solutions to address client challenges and align USA’s standards with the client’s goals, objectives, philosophy, and approach
- Create awareness of USA’s capabilities through client meetings, talks, articles, blog posts, contributions to web content, etc.
- Improve and keep current USA’s social media presence
- Request, generate, and document referrals from current and past clients
- Provide market intelligence feedback
- Cultivate a pipeline of referrals and record in USA’s (CRM) Client Relationship Management document
- Assess potential client relationships per risk and reward
- Develop project team relationships in support of project goals, aligning with USA’s processes
- Attend events, meetings, and conferences as a USA representative
- Oversee the company’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness
- Coordinate marketing design and content to generate digital and print advertising material
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the field
- Knowledge of budgeting, marketing, and team management
- Proven successful track record in sales and marketing
- Strong working knowledge of marketing and sales industry, including digital tools and techniques
- Knowledge of fabrication, and material applications a plus
- Consistent attention to detail and a dedication to excellence
- Must be able to work well with project leads
- Experience in a fast-paced production / shop environment
- Must maintain a respectful disposition with all team members
- Understands the workflow from design to preconstruction to fabrication/installation
- Word, Excel, Illustrator, Smartsheet
