The Tacoma Historical Society (THS) Curator serves as the primary collections manager to assure the safety and stability of items in the THS collection, and managing day‐to‐day operations related to museum collections. The Curator is also responsible for developing and implementing professional, well‐researched, engaging, and mission-driven permanent, temporary and traveling exhibits, supervising student interns. He/she leads the research, design and installation of museum exhibits. The Curator works in close coordination with the Society’s committees and Managing Director.
