Salary: $45,700 – $50,960 annually

About All Things Oz Museum
The International L. Frank Baum & All Things Oz Historical Foundation exists to educate the public about the writings of L. Frank Baum and other Oz authors, promote research related to Oz creators and works, encourage original creative expression inspired by Oz, and preserve and share a unique collection of Oz memorabilia.
Position Summary
The Museum Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the All Things Oz Museum and serving as a member of the museum leadership team. This role combines operational management, visitor engagement, retail oversight, financial accountability, and program coordination.
Key Objectives
• Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the museum.
• Deliver an outstanding visitor experience.
• Expand and coordinate group tours through community outreach and partnerships.
• Support and develop part-time staff and volunteers.
• Maintain a successful and profitable museum gift shop.
Essential Responsibilities
Museum Operations, Visitor Services, Museum Shop Management, Membership Program, and Visitor Experience leadership.
Qualifications
• Minimum four years of customer service, visitor services, retail, or related experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations and best practices.
• Museum or retail experience preferred.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work weekends.
