Sunday, February 16: Uncovering Hidden Histories of Frederick County

Explore how three historic sites in nearby Frederick County have worked to uncover the hidden stories of their pasts and integrated those stories into their interpretation.

For those meeting the bus in Gaithersburg: 9:00 am to 6:30 pm
For those meeting the bus in Frederick: 10:00 am to 5:30 pm

Monday, February 17: Planning for Interpretation at Black and African American Heritage Sites

Visit several of the Montgomery County sites rich in Black and African American history, and engage in a multi-site conversation about interpretation and interpretive planning within the specific context of Black and African American histories.

10:30 am to 3:30 pm, concluding at the opening reception, with return service to the conference hotel at 6:00 pm
